Who we are?

Theresa DePietto – Roesler (Co-Founder) : Executive Director Theresa lives in Babylon Village with their three beautiful daughters. Theresa sits on the Long Island Long Term Recovery Group, Health and Welfare Council and is a member of Friends of Long Island and Vision Long Island. She is certified with the American Red Cross for Sheltering, and is a trained Disaster Case Manager through Catholic Charities via the Diocese of Rockville Centre. She is the recipient of the Town of Babylon Community Service Award for their Women’s History Month Program, and is a recipient of Vision Long Islands Smart Growth Award. She a lifelong resident of the Town of Babylon. Theresa is a NY Rising CRP (Community Reconstruction Program) Committee Member for the Babylon/West Babylon NYR Committee. Theresa was Women of Distinction in 2016 for the Women of Distinction Magazine.

Jennifer Aulino (Co-Founder) : President Born and raised in Lindenhurst, Jennifer attended St. Josephs College with degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education as well as her Masters degree in infants and toddlers, special education. Cofounder & Former Executive Director of not for profit in the Lindenhurst area after Superstorm Sandy. She currently resides in Lindenhurst with her husband and four children.

NY State Senator, Phil Boyle honored Jennifer Mackie as part of the New York State Senate’s 16th Annual Women of Distinction. She was nominated by local residents to receive special recognition by the State Senate as a New York “Woman of Distinction” for her outstanding contributions to her community.
